PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND! We were told by the family that this dates to the late 19th century. Not my wheelhouse so I am taking their word for it. The artwork is in the manner of an ancient illuminated manuscript and depicts Moses appearing before Pharaoh from the Hebrew Old Testament or Torah. The art itself measures 6.5” x 8.5” within the matte. Framed elegantly with gilded wood frame with Greek key detail (gorgeous frame!) and a textured grass cloth matte which measures 13” x 15” overall framed.
