My formal art training began at age eight with oil painting and Japanese calligraphy. Through painting I explored the realms of color and composition, while my calligraphy master instilled discipline and precision in my brush strokes. At the avant-garde Bunka Gakuin Institute of Fine Arts in Tokyo I studied under Masanari Murai, a pioneering Japanese abstract artist who encouraged my artistic freedom.\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003eI strive to create art in which diverse geometric elements are united within a holistic visual universe.
