Brooklyn Bridge 1883-1983 - Andy Warhol created the screen print Brooklyn Bridge 1883-1983 from a photograph taken from the permanent collection of the Museum of the City of New York. The work was commissioned by the Brooklyn Bridge Centennial Commission, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge, and reprinted as posters. This original poster shows two prints of the bridge set in opposing directions and updated with a Pop palette of orange, yellow, teal, magenta, and purple.
