This is one of a series where many famous artists were asked to produce artwork to celebrate the Los Angeles Bicentennial, 1781-1981. David Hockney’s contribution was “Skaters Venice.” This is a vintage offset lithographic poster, signed in ink lower right and numbered in pencil 170/425 lower left. It was published in 1980 by Haddad's Fine Arts, California. The overall framed measurements are 25” x 32”. Framed sturdily with wood backing in a simple bronze metal gallery frame.
