PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND!! Rare 1981 Frank Fontana gallery poster from the Jane Corbin Gallery in Toronto. Fontana is an early pioneer of color photography whose style was highly influenced by Abstract Expressionism and Minimalism, Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman and Ed Reinhardt. Fontana's work with its focus on graphic form and color was quite different from the classical black-and-white art photography that was predominant at that time. This poster is framed in a typical silver metal gallery style frame of the period and measures 17” wide x 32” high. Condition of both poster and frame appear to be good+ for their age.
