Georges Goursat (1863-1934) SEM Belle Epoch French Pochoir Lithograph. This is a framed plate from his iconic Paris portfolio, a famous collection of caricatures of French high society. We were told this was purchased at a Christie’s auction in the 1990s and was described as a hand-finished lithograph circa 1920s. Signed SEM lower left. Framed in burl wood, measures 20-1/4” wide and 25” high, the print measures 12” x 17” within the double matte. The frame has some light scuffs and edge wear on corners but displays very well when hung. Please ask any and all questions prior to offer or purchase.
