MCM Modernist Lion & Dove Limited Edition woodblock Print signed PC Conant. Numbered 5/12 AS IS. We believe this is by P.C. Madsen-Conant, 20th century artist. It reminds me of an early Lisa Larson Gustavsberg era lion. The expression is darling. I hope someone will find, save and appreciate this piece.
Print image measures approx 8” x 8” but overall framed size is 15” x 16”. Framed simply. There are no creases or rips in the print however there is foxing and plume underneath the glass. The matte is unusable. You will need to reframe this immediately but It is well worth the effort!! It presents beautifully and will be a wonderful addition to your collection of mid-century art!
