Kuff is a graphic artist and accomplished portraitist who was commissioned by the White House Historical Association to create the official White House coloring book! He is known for his finely detailed portraits of political figures and celebrities.
This piece depicts an old-time pilot in silhouette, wearing his flying jodhpurs and cap, examining a classic biplane. Such an evocative image for any historical aviation buff. Signed and dated 1979 lower/center right as well as on the verso in the artists hand. Measures 8.5” x 9.5” and 12” x 15” overall framed.
