PALM BEACH ESTATE FIND!! Vintage Shanghai Handicrafts Collection lacquer& wicker rabbit shaped lidded trinket box. Midcentury era (circa 1960s) Chinese export. It has a fitted lid, four wooden feet and two glass eyes. The basket is tightly woven of fine wicker and is natural brown in color with a shiny finish. The basket exterior is in excellent vintage condition with hardly any age-related wear. The interior of the box has some cracks and chips to the yellow lacquer (see photo). Remnants of original label on the underside. Measures approximately 12” from nose to tail and 8” high. Please ask any and all questions prior to offer or purchase.
