REAL DEAL TRUE VINTAGE!! Black leather cafe racer style moto jacket, marked size 40. Broken in exactly the way you’d want it to be! It was made by a San Francisco leather manufacturer on historic Polk Street. I found a company called Johnson Leathers who was active in the 70s and is still on Polk Street today, albeit at a new location. They were known for making regulation police leathers, so it makes sense as the tag is (to me) partly illegible. Definite James Dean Vibes.
Condition is good for its age. The leather is a little stiff and should loosen up with wearing. There are minor scuffs overall. The most “damage” can be found inside the neck of the jacket (as shown). The snaps are a bit oxidized but all the YKK zippers work well. We are selling this jacket AS IS and AS FOUND.
